Polartec – originally established as Malden Mills – has a long and rich history of serving the textile industry with the production of wool knits for soldiers through both of the world wars. Credited with inventing modern synthetic fleece in 1981, Polartec engineers have since created over 300 different technical fabrics that have set the industry standard for outerwear performance.
What is Polartec® technology?
Polartec® technology is the benchmark for lightweight performance fleeces. It provides comfort without the bulk and provides durable, water repellent, thermal and breathability properties. Coming in a variety of weights so that you can match your fleece performance to the intensity of the environment around you.

Polartec 100 Series®
The benchmark for lightweight fleece, made for the cold outdoors.
A lightweight microfleece in low pebble velour/fleece. Knit from 100% recycled PET yarns. Premium polyester yarns deliver breathable performance, soft comfort, and long-lasting durability. Available in new, solid colours.
Polartec 200 Series®
Cross dye heather
The classic midweight fleece, double velour, knit with 87% recycled PET yarns, in a cross-dye heather colour. Premium polyester yarns deliver breathable performance, soft comfort, and longlasting durability.
